For sale
2004 Cirrus SR22 G2
N881WDSerial 1215
$325,000
Hangared at David Wayne Hooks Memorial (KDWH) in North Houston, Texas. No damage history, no known squawks, and kept ready to fly.
She has been a working airplane: Challenge Air, Pilots N Paws, Operation Airdrop, family trips, and the business trips that had to leave on time. She is for sale because the next few years mean less flying, and she is happiest when she is used.
The engine is the original Continental IO-550-N. Smooth, happy, and light on oil. Borescopes at annual have not turned up a concern. She starts in two or three blades, every time. No fuss, and no missed departure.
Air conditioning is why she still gets flown through a Houston summer. The compressor, the drive adapters, and the related parts were replaced in 2022 and 2023, and it works GREAT. Two large doors, the unique 'half yoke' creates a spacious, non-cramped pilot experience, and a BMW designed cabin that stays comfortable even for the rear seat passengers.
The panel is a dream Avidyne stack, and it is Vantage-ready. Entegra PFD and MFD, IFD540, IFD440, AMX240, and a DFC90, with the displays and autopilot still under Avidyne warranty. That is how she flies today. Those same pieces are what Avidyne built the Vantage 12 upgrade around, if a later owner wants the 12-inch screens.
Mechanics who see a lot of G2s, and pilots who have no reason to flatter anyone, keep landing on the same sentence: this is the cleanest G2 they have seen. She is hangared. The glass is excellent. The honest deduction is the usual scuff on the gear fairings.
